watched 16 melies films yesterday at the syd silent film festival. astounding! what a master –  still enthralling audiences 115 years later. go find a dvd or SOMETHING and watch immediately. (one of the funniest scenes i’ve seen in a film –  when lustful mr moon passes the salivating mr sun during a solar eclipse and gets a cheeky tongue tickle! )
